Female cats found pregnant need to be spayed, no exceptions. Disagree? Might as well exit now.

 

Colony care takers need to TNR.

Feral/community unowned cats need ear tips.

​

$30 tip/$45 no tip, cats are fixed and rabies and FVRCP vaccinated no exceptions.. no antivaxers!

Pets need at least one vaccine and ready for a second vaccine before we will consider fixing them

 

If you are doing TNR we expect the same from you as we do ourselves, TNR the entire colony with ear tips, kittens under 3 months that can be tamed are pulled by you for fostering and rescue not as Fresno TNR fosters.

 

Can’t afford it? We need to help you...once approved to drop off post for a sponsor to help cover the spay or neuter fees...

 

Any sick kitten/cat can be treated and we expect you to do that, unless it is a dying or extreme case.

 

Pulling bottle babies that are perfectly healthy is a huge no no! You leave mom and babies, keep an eye on them, allow them to grow and thrive and when they are eating solid food for a good week...YOU help get them fixed and adopted and not living a street life. Close the entire circle with a TNR for mom...no one is sent out unaltered.

 

Leaving a feral mom and taking her kittens is a ban-able offense!! This is a huge rule breaker!!

 

Offering us any kind of kitten for rescue is not what we want.

 

Spay and neuter is our priority, everything else is bonus.

You can adopt kittens or cats out by posting on our page only after they are fixed.

You can ask for rescue for unaltered cats while waiting to get them fixed. If you’re caught giving away unaltered cats kittens you will be banned!

No piggy back posting...do not post your request or need for help in the comments of any post. You need to make your own post asking for the specific help you are in need of...trapping, borrowing traps, transport, ect. Give major cross streets but not the exact location.

 

A term we never use “…get rid of”

​

Transport happens in a hard secure plastic carrier or secure trap! Do not bring cats in collapsible carriers or traps, cardboard carriers or boxes! No soft carriers! No dog crates!

​

Do not transport in truck beds or open convertibles. Cats need to be secure in a car with windows up!

 

Do not message multiple admin at the same time! If you don’t get a response in 24 hours try another admin. The idea is you are on one page with one admin and not getting multiple answers by different admin.

 

No third party! Your aunts friend said, so and so said, to bring the cat...this causes major confusion

 

What we post is real life and some can’t handle it but it needs to be shared.

 

Why do we get upset about an unplanned trap?

​

• We may not have any appointments for days, meaning the cat will sit in a trap for 5-7 days  depending. Most people cant hold or care for a cat for approximately that long.

• We may have set up a complete week already and not have room.

• You may have caught a cat that is impossible to re-trap and by letting it go you have just unleashed an uncontrollable problem that was well intended.

• Trapping and a simple “I’ll just let them go” may turn into an entire colony build up by one failed action.

• The “What was your plan?” question may trigger you to become unhinged when most of what anyone does in life should have some valid plan attached to it...you can’t just up and buy a car one day or show up to your primary physicians office unannounced.

• You may have inadvertently caught a nursing mom and unintentionally killed all of her kittens by having to hold her for so long.

• We have a lot of people we adjust for but please, don’t be one. We do our best to help, but it makes it that much harder when rules cannot be followed.
